Depart from Tokyo and travel to Narai-juku, one of Japan’s longest and best-preserved Edo-period post towns. Stroll through the charming historic streets, browse local shops, and enjoy the nostalgic atmosphere of old Japan.
Continue to Matsumoto Castle, one of Japan’s five original National Treasure castles, renowned for its striking black exterior and beautiful mountain backdrop.
After sightseeing, check in to your hotel in Matsumoto and enjoy a relaxing evening.
- Day 2Matsumoto → Kamikochi → Tokyo
Travel to Kamikochi, one of Japan’s most spectacular mountain valleys in the Northern Alps. Enjoy free time to walk across the iconic Kappa Bridge, follow the crystal-clear Azusa River, and immerse yourself in the breathtaking alpine scenery.
On the return journey to Tokyo, a comfort stop will be made at a highway service area, allowing guests to relax before arriving back in the city.
